Patron Foundation - Culture for Kids

The Patron Foundation makes grants available to organizations serving public and private school children in grades pre-kindergarten through 12, as well as those in special needs or after-school programs.

Any school administrator, parent organization (PTA/PTO), neighborhood center, civic or youth organization is eligible to apply.

To qualify for funding, events must take place outside of the school setting. Culture For Kids grants are not currently available for in-school residency programs or performances.

Grants can be used to subsidize field trip admission and transportation costs to museums, zoos, aquariums or performing arts organizations listed in the current Culture For Kids Roster of Participating Organizations.

Grants will reimburse admission and transportation costs up to $10 per student, per individual daily field trip.

During the 2008-2009 school year, the Patron Foundation will be offering the Culture for Kids program in communities nationwide. If you would like to be notified when Grant Applications become available to schools and civic organizations in your community, please register to receive program updates.
