The
Patron Foundation
Arts and cultural organizations provide lifelong learning opportunities and are essential to educating our children and creating vibrant communities.
The Patron Foundation is dedicated to increasing public support of the arts by broadening participation,
in particular by ensuring that children have greater access to cultural opportunities.
To accomplish this goal, the Patron Foundation [501(c)(3) pending] makes funds directly available to museums, zoos, aquariums
and performing arts organizations to support their education and community outreach initiatives, and subsidizes field trip transportation and admission costs for schools and civic organizations. The
PatronPartner Company Funding for the
Patron Foundation comes from the PatronPartner Company. Through a
national coalition of corporate business partners, PatronPartner creates
Cultural Cause Marketing programs which have the potential to
dramatically expand the number of companies that support museums,
enabling arts and cultural organizations of any size to
generate a new
source of long-term funding and significant increases in corporate contributions. Our mission is to deliver this new source of funding by
making it profitable — not just philanthropic — for business to support
the arts.
As a for-profit social enterprise, we believe the best way to make these
goals a reality is by demonstrating that a company's ability to make
both a difference and a profit are not only complementary, but essential
to each other's success. To accomplish this, PatronPartner is
bringing together museums, zoos, aquariums,
performing arts organizations and business partners to create programs
that impact communities nationwide.
